I love the smell of friendship in the air
It’s the sign that a new dawn is about to be born
It’s the song that tells of greatness when two heads become as one
Friendship binds nations together
And brings peace to raging seas
It tells of stories that no picture could capture
And emphasizes the need to love endlessly
Friendship is like every flower
With the ability to float away if plucked from its branch
Friendship is like the lake that
can dry up when there’s no rain
Friendship is like a boat on a journey that
can sink in when the tide gets too rough
But friendships have the ability to last forever
Even in the grave
those memories remain
