The next day came and I couldn’t even do much for myself. How would I ask this young man to stay back and help me? I didn’t have a choice but to beg him to stay back and help me prepare what to eat. Buying the food was one thing, but cooking was still a problem for me. He sounded as if he grudgingly accepted but he did. He helped more than I could even do that day and it was such a blessing to me. Most of what he brought were so much for just me to eat, and they came straight from his farm.
We started conversing that morning and it felt as if we had known for many years. It seems to be like that when I meet kindhearted people. So we talked so much about his past and what he does for a living, including his passion for farming. Everything about his world revolved around farming spices and herbs. His pictures he took mostly in the farm, he encouraged his family to become organic farmers and does the same for others. He charges for his consultations as a farmer and even knows so much about the woman’s body system. One can call him a herbalist, but indeed he is a farmer. He spends so much time in research that’s why he can tell almost every seed by name and what they perform in the body. I was very shocked to see such a young guy being proud to be called a farmer, even going as far as teaching people on social media. I finally made a friend who is interested in what we put in our mouths.
We talked all through and cooked at the same time, learning what kinds of teas help with pain and so on. It was a miracle so to speak, meeting a Facebook friend who had good intentions and actually knew his grind. Cause I never thought for one day that such guys could be found on Facebook, not to talk of being helpful! I can say Never say never to new friendships
To the farmer who helped me while in need, thank you
